The neighbors have spoken and have chosen the movie Encanto to watch!

Join us for a free community event and movie screening! Let’s meet our neighbors, eat and watch Encanto (with Spanish subtitles).
When: June 10, 2023 6:30-11:30pm (movie airs at 9:45pm)
Where: Pleasant Park
Who: Anyone in the area
What: Area businesses and food trucks followed by a movie. Food trucks include Kona Ice, Let’z Taco Bout It, Pi2Go & Haggerty’s.
Bring chairs (low beach type chairs preferred) or blankets to sit on. If you only have tall chairs we’ll ask you to sit towards the back.
Parking is limited, so Mobile GR is reminding us to walk, bike, take the Rapid, carpool or ride the lime bikes/scooters.
Remember, no parking is allowed on the west side of Madison street, only along the park. Pleasant street will be reserved parking for food trucks.
Lighting of the Luminaries
We had a great first year running this event as a fundraiser with 88 homes participating! Thank you for your support and we loved seeing the streets lit up! Huge thanks to Arnie’s Bakery for donating the bags and to Bates Place Neighbors for letting us use their space and staff!
